What’s your point of view?

Moderated and Taught by Jenn Bailey

Have you struggled to find the right voice for you work-in-progress?

Maybe you need to change your point of view.

Join author and editor Jenn Bailey for this one-day workshop where you and the other participants will do a deep dive into the question of POV.

How the Caucus works:

Each participant (participation is limited to no more than 18 total attendees) will be asked to write and rewrite the first page of their work-in-progress in three different POV’s. These will be turned in to Jenn ahead of the workshop and then distributed to all participants. Each attendee will be expected to read and take notes on all the POV’s. Come caucus-time, be prepared to argue for your favorite POV. Each manuscript will get discussion time as participants argue for and against each POV. In this fun and interactive setting, we’ll see how good a case can be made and how many minds can be changed!

In between (and during) our caucus debates, Jenn will be teaching the in’s and out’s of each POV as well as guiding the discussions and providing critique and feedback.

Jenn Bailey has her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
